A good point, and people may reasonably disagree on the point of exactly how white she looks.

Indeed. At this point, in America, being white is the same as looking white. Also, Ms. Hayek doesn’t look white. Splitting hairs about who is white over here is purposeless.
Now that there is some excellent headline writing!
It’s almost as if they are admitting that micro-blogging was never a great idea in the first place! (Took them long enough).
Mac and cheese (from scratch). I found a no-boil recipe that works well (with some modifications) and it’s great every time.
If he’s not outraged, he’s not paying attention.
This was my thought as well, reading this. It sounds made up.
I loved the series but hated that last episode. It has little to do with what came before, and I think they should have just made the previous episode the season finale.
I think The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy should make the cut, but otherwise, I just don’t know.
I read the article. There is no way those Republican congressmen’s measured, thoughtful statements will have the impact of 45's dumbass tweet.
I thought our state motto was “South Carolina: At least we’re not Mississippi”
This doesn’t surprise me in the least. People say very unguarded, ill-considered things to complete strangers when they think there will be no consequences. Normally, you let someone like that hang themself because then you, at least, know they’re a douche.
Problem here is not only with reading comprehension, but with composition as well. I had to read that sentence twice to begin to follow it, and I can understand it, but that is VERY poorly written!
This is the most charmingly dorky thing I’ve heard of in a long time!
I guess I can see how someone might view it as a vanity project for DiCaprio, but Hardy’s and Gleason’s performances are amazing as well. So too, the guy who plays the young man (Bricker or something like that was his character name).
I can really get behind Blade Runner winning best production design. I was amazed throughout by it. I just haven’t seen any of the rest of these films
I just love 3D so much. If I can watch something in 3D, that’s what I’m going to do. I also find the glasses uncomfortable, but I just deal with it. What do you mean when you say the sound is upgraded? This might be a legitimate way for Mr Cameron to make some more money off me.
That’s a great choice and I might do it myself if I get the chance. Have you seen the 3D version? I bought it for myself as a birthday present and then got my friend who had never seen it before to watch it with me. It was a better experience than my initial viewing in a packed theater!
I just finished rewatching The Revenant, and although I haven’t seen either of the other BP nominees you write about, I feel extremely comfortable saying it should have been BP. Were people just put off by how much visceral grossness was in that movie?
Hear, hear!
