Neither thing matters to me when I buy trucks.

Used Ridgeline is going to have less tech and far worse efficiency (literally half the MPG).
Ranger 4x4 + tech package + super crew = $39k.
XLT + Co-Pilot + Cyber Orange is my pick. After a few other small accessories it came out to $25k-ish.
Fords current business plan seems to be “Truck and SUV literally everything”
Ridgline Starts at $37k. A fully loaded Lariat Mav is still going to be cheaper by decent margin.
Yes yes yes! This is what I’ve been saying.
Disagree. I think this car is going against Corolla/Civic/economy cars.
You’re 25 and you need your first “real” car. Why would you choose a small sedan over a small pickup that gets better mpg, has more 100x more utility, and isn’t a boring.
The rental Escape 2.0T I drove struggles to break 30 mpg, some aero is at play here.
Great engine though. Quick.
I’m seeing this eating into Civic/Corolla.
Pretty bold statement to say most people will jump for the 2.0T. Great motor but the base buts up insane numbers in the MPG department.
Not sure which I’d go with if I was in the market. If I had kids an XL one of these would be the easiest first car decision ever. Perfect college car and being a truck I’d be able to…
Saw an HD AT4 w/bed tent the other day. Honestly looked fucking great. Would own.
I cannot think of a dumber metric to rate a vehicle by.
Wow, this aged pretty badly.
Father in law has a 2015 or 16 EcoDiesel, he curses it everyday. At one point a fuel pump failed and it was spraying diesel all over the engine. Was a known recall for some time, but FCA never did the service prior to the incident due to the back order of parts.
I’ve heard good things about their larger screen. It might take some getting used to, but I’d at least check it out.
Revisiting this 3 months later?
If it takes you 30 min to walk 1/2 mile you are either 700 lbs or walking backwards 1/2 mile first and then walking forward.
This is what I don’t understand about the reboots. Say what you want about Jeremey, but he is likely one of the greatest automotive journalists of all time. May and Richard had similar experiences before landing on TG. Their literary mastery is what made them work so well on a scripted TV show.
Still don’t know why Rut, Adam, and Tanner were dumped. If you want to bring Top Gear USA back, you need those three. They were as close as America was ever going to get to the holy British trio.
