Dude, how dense are you. The LR3 was $50k in 2008 ($60k in today’s money). It’s not even close to being a comparable and it just proves my point. The base model is a full $30k cheaper than the car you think it competes with.
It’s hardly a 4x4 though, this isn’t poaching people who buy 4Runners to turn into rock crawlers, that’s what the full sized Bronco is supposed to do.

I did 400 miles in a rental soul once and it was totally fine my dude. It was like a boxy Corolla but the lane keep and adaptive cruise was shockingly good.

Stock AP1 suspension is literally dog shit and if handles like crap at the limit with the stock tire set up.
Engine sounds like a sewing machine and the transmissions on these higher mile examples just don’t feel that great anymore. Went through 3 different gear oils before coming to the conclusion the shifter was just tired.
This was a $7k car before covid and I’ve seen it for sale for awhile now. I actually sold a MINT condition S2000 w/100k miles for $13k about a year ago. The new prices suck, hard.
