Reading comments on this site over the years I was under the impression the roads in Michigan were on par with Baghdad’s in 1990. I thought you’d need a Trophy Truck to hit some legitimate speeds up there.

Stop making sense.
Bingo.
Fixing the small truck rules under CAFE to match reality would be a good step towards encouraging smaller cars.
I clicked all the way through to get the the comments just to say this is the last and only time i will ever click through one of these goddamn slideshow articles.
I’ll be honest, the people leaving Jalopnik didn’t bother me too much because there are still some decent writers left and I honestly just pop in as a fairly mindless distraction from work. Had no real plans to change that and couldn’t really give a hoot about Spanefeller or hulk Hogan or whatever other garbage goes…
Only if they can actually get the comments to load on mobile and it doesn’t just hang forever trying to load all the ads.
Everyone who reads this article on a phone is going to wonder what all the comments are about. No slideshow madness here.
Why in the hell is this a slideshow? I realize this probably wasn’t your call, but it is a bad call.
I don’t like this decline Jalopnik is going through. More adverts, writers leaving, and now a force-you-to-click-through article?
Some will never be one in a million, so they settle for one in twenty eight.
I’m really only here for the David Tracey, Andrew Collins, and Tom McParland articles. Every time I go back to reading a Shilling or Brownell article it’s the same shitty takes regurgitated over and over again. Even when I actually agree with them their schtick is so painful to read.
I did something similar last summer and got an Audi A3 with under 35,000 miles on it for about $19,000, with a CarMax warranty. 14 speaker 700 watt stereo, AWD, 0-60 in 5.4 seconds.
Amen - there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the Bell-Shepards owning some apartments. In fact, as rental housing stock in LA goes, you’re much better off having a celebrity couple like them for landlords (they’ll fix things, if only to avoid bad press) than some real estate investment ghoul like Steve Mnuchin who…
Shes probably pissed her landlord won’t and is taking it out on them.
Yeah I thought that was really weird to have here. They took the step when so many corporate landlords aren’t doing shit. Like why are they being called out here?
I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.
If you want to be the pretend “cool” dad driving a manual, at least get something that doesn’t leak exhaust and has some modicum of safety like a Scion Xb or Kia Soul.
Women know it’s spelled “brakes.”
I love this for the same reasons, but the fuel tank has a leak and he’s still driving it with the kids?
