The league reviewed them and determined they weren’t penalties. You reviewed them and determined they were penalties. Since you’re a writer and they’re, you know, referees, I tend to side with them.

Both of those plays were sacks. He was never a “passer”
“There is no doubt our democracy can be very messy,”
This is the most intelligent paragraph ever slightly associated with Jezebel.
As a Republican who voted Trump, I understand where you are coming from. I was highly annoyed when Obama was elected, but had a great day the next day and an AWESOME year this year. Just focus on self-improvement, doing well in school/ at work, and no matter your political leanings, you’ll have a great year too!!! I…
It’s as if the DNC ran their second best candidate or something...
To be fair, Clinton herself was known for compromising her own ethics as well. She did it while a lawyer in how she handled a client charged with rape. She did it again as First Lady when she allowed herself to be silenced by politicians from both major parties on nationalized healthcare. She did it again as a…
The problem with Clinton’s candidacy was that her victory was always and only going to be symbolic. Her campaign offered nothing else of substance. She lost and she and the DNC are the only ones to blame.
The point is someone was going to pay for it and it wasnt going to be the owners. And whether my sales tax dollars were going to a stadium or some other bungled city project, I would still be paying the same sales tax rate to my city. So we voted yes and that’s our problem now. At least I can go to a game in a…
I voted for Clinton. I made calls for Clinton. I poll watched for Clinton. People aren’t “crying” for Bernie. They are making the same point they made all along. Clinton was a bad choice for this particular cycle. But instead of accepting the clear evidence you decide to double down and complain about Sanders and…
And people are wondering why the Dems lost lol.
““But Bernie ...” Shut the fuck up. He lost. People didn’t vote for him then, why would you think they’d vote for him now? You were supposed to move on and do what’s best for the country, not whine your way into a fucking nightmare.”
I agree with you on this, as a liberal. I am not surprised at the results. I am disappointed and gutted but not surprised.
I voted for Hillary you dolt. I am just from that part of the country and understand the despair. Whether or not they are better off than minorities doesn’t matter to them. It is whether or not they are better off than they were before. They aren’t.
Marx was so immersed in a racist and xenophobic era that it probably never occurred to him to explicitly state it.
“Apparently you shouldn’t alienate one of the biggest voting blocks in the country.”
Bingo. Clinton lost not because of social issues, but because she ignored economic ones. So Hamilton’s call to arms while not mentioning economic issues illustrates completely how out of touch the democrats are and why they just lost to a halfwit con man.
Ding, ding, we have a winner. Unfortunately it will fly right over the enlightened gawker journalists’s heads.
I live in the area and I always thought that the dumbest thing that they did when they built the current stadium was to not put a dome on it. Who wants to sit outside and watch a game in August when it is 105 or 110?
While I agree that the current stadium is beautiful and I like the architecture, I laugh at the the people lamenting its loss. I mean, the new stadium could very well turn out to be even more aesthetically pleasing than the current one. Oh and 2 pm Sunday games in July will finally be bearable when its complete
