The story itself contains quotes from sources who say similarly vague things like, “The marriage may be over,” and “Teresa’s...learned she doesn’t need Joe.”

I thought it was educational besides being hilarious. It depicts really well what happens when people are educated in abstinence-only/sex is dirty/sex is the work of the devil types of environments. Misinformation breeds anxiety and suffering - which on the show happened to be hilarious.

Dangit! Though I guess I can’t fault her. I wasn’t really familiar with Chewing Gum until earlier this year, I was going through my On Demand or whatever shows, and I saw it pop up and was intrigued by the name, and before we knew it, my boyfriend and I had spent our whole day binging both seasons back to back.
