Its...Its not one of our better traits as a city, and our downtown hipster scene makes my teeth ache.

Touché. I was thinking Irish as well. Not saying they're HARD to find, but I guess a low percentage of our massive number of bars? Maybe its all in my head.

Sure wont. And if you don't think this is tone deaf as hell, you're letting your loyalty to the bar blind you. Perhaps we should have all watched the Beijing Olympics in mockups of Tienanmen Square with a few tanks and bloody smears?

Obviously.

Guh. Resident here. This isnt remotely surprising. Oddly, there arent a ton of places to watch soccer in town, so not only is it tone deaf, its totally unneeded. I'll be spending my money elsewhere - but most people of sense would have anyhow. Nomad caters to hipsters who dont even know what a favela is, outside

Rape victim here. It does change you, profoundly, identity and all. This is a huge part of why its so terrible - I'm a different person if i don't experience my rape.

Fishing is much more fun when you're good at it, yes. (Its not just like, despite what many people think - there's a reason the same people win over and over again in competitive circles, after all).

Nothing here worth seeing - i think the only well rendered piece of this entire thing was the cut scene of the thong. Nopes.

Not cheating! Chipotle is choosing to play a man down, and so be it!

You sir, are a liar and a knave. The owner of the queso burrito wins, hands down, every time. If you ordered something else, then the failure is yours, not theirs.

Not to detract from your beautiful article, but just to have a quick fanboy second here...

Im right with you. Grew up throwing the F and R words around like they were just another curse. Then, in the span of 3 years one of my most respected educators came out to me, and I ended up working with people with developmental disabilities. My perspective and politics did a hard turn around, but unfortunately,

nothing witty - but thank you for this. Well written, lovely piece.

I am a (non practicing) Catholic, and I approve this message.

my cap is on the left, I love it. Not sure why I'd want to drive around the car.

This is sexist and yes, passive aggressively insulting.

I was at this show, and it was amazing. Also, its pretty spot on.

I wish I had something to add here, but I really cant think of what to say. These men are disgusting.
