I think I know what you're trying to say, haha.
I think I know what you're trying to say, haha.
wut. I don't, even, know what you're trying to say.
I for one, will never ever be embarrassed about me saying women should empower themselves against rape through self-defense/trazers/guns/etc. Fact, I will forever believe that.
I'm not sure which comment you're replying to! Is it the bully one? Please explain and maybe I can articulate my idea better!
Not a problem!
She mentions it in the article, and some of the comments here from other victims or assault/rape.
It could be, with self-defense classes, which are offered on numerous campuses, but yes, I agree with that sentiment. It's not easy, or a one size fits all, but I do believe it has the best chance at combating rape.

Right, me saying women should empower themselves with self defense = rapist apologist.
Has a better chance at stopping than anything else i've read in here.
The same reason Brian Singer does. Hollywood/Fashion Model industry is RAMPANT with sexual abuse.
How do you make the jump from fighting back/telling the police to blaming the victim?
Oh yeah, I get it too. I completely understand how she felt pressured to not say anything, or to react to the situation, because of who was doing it. I can't ever act like I know what it feels like to be raped or assaulted, but I still do think that if women empowered themselves with self-defense, the scumbags would…
