And now I have to go make some stickers for the blank buttons in my car. So... there’s that.
I agree with you on both counts. But I won’t buy one because it’s slow. Stupid slow cars.
Dear Coloradans,
Thanks.
Thanks.
I’m not sure that would have worked for mine. They were rough. And the reason I was going over one spot repeatedly was because that’s what the instructions said to do - that support was still “shiny,” not scuffed...

Everyone in my area charges at least $60. I was willing to pay that but the guy took too long to get back to me so I thought he was blowing me off. What can I say, I’m impatient. Also, I went to find additional Sandpaper, and bought some 800, but I’m dumb and thought the rougher grit was 500 and it was 600. I don’t…

It’s not the per tank cost that’s a problem, it’s the annual bill. As I stated, a lot of folks are pretty bad with money so saving up $500+ to pay a bill once a year, as opposed to $10 per week, would be difficult for a large segment of the population. That may not be a totally bad thing, because maybe more people…

Agreed, if you’re going to do it yourself, this is the way to go. But if you have particularly scratched and yellowed headlights, you’re going to need two kits and many hours.

This isn’t just a paste. This is for headlights worn beyond the limits of paste. This kit includes fine grit sandpaper. Which you can also buy independently, but at $10 per package it can be pricey.

There’s some show on Nick Jr or some shit that has a song talking about all the bones in the body. The lyrics are something like “I have lots of bones inside me.” My husband and I have changed it to: “I want your bone inside me.” Here it is:
There are options - the tolls on US 36 between Denver/Boulder are only on the express lanes. There’s nothing to keep the company from going belly up, but the owner could put the contract back out to bid.
I’m not disagreeing with privatizing infrastructure being a bad idea - it most certainly is (as I sarcastically…
There are a lot of ways to do it, but there are problems with all of them. The problem with this? Federal gas taxes are 18.4 cents per gallon plus my state’s tax of 22 cents per gallon (on the lower end - they really need to raise it) is 40.4 cents per gallon. My tank is about 15 gallons per fill, so $6.06 per visit…
Most states (including southern states) get more money back from the Highway Trust Fund than they put in: http://www.cnbc.com/2015/07/21/te-a-gas-tax-winner-or-loser.html
I would argue that the method of taxation needs to change also. A Tesla does just as much damage to the road as my car, but they pay absolutely no taxes that go into the highway trust fund. We need a vehicle mile traveled tax. The problem is figuring out how to implement it.
If a private venture signs on to an infrastructure project, maintenance is generally part of the deal. They design, build, finance, operate, and maintain it - and get the tolls or fares for the length of their contract.
