While I agree that your math is sound, I don’t think the people taking out 84 month loans on used cars are in this situation and achieving that interest rate.

1st gear: OMG, people. They have APPS for that! You literally don’t even have to do or understand the math - a computer program can do it for you!

2nd gear: good thing everyone lives in huge major metros that will be able to yield a profit to private investors, right?

Saw one on Friday. All black, lowered, black rims, super dark tint. Looked like a hearse.

No worries. I did misstate the “you set the MSRP” part.

Literally the point I was making. I don’t negotiate anywhere except the car dealership. I don’t care what their overhead or profit is, but I want a reasonable price and I don’t want to negotiate and I don’t want to get fucked. It’s a more stressful experience than anyone needs to have.

I do, of course. My overarching theme is that negotiating for cars is ridiculous because the entire concept is predicated on keeping the consumer in the dark. I know there are options to learn actual dealer cost on a car now, but it’s ridiculous that vehicle price isn’t standardized. Every other commodity we buy in

Agreed. I know too many people who have traded in vehicles on which they are upside down against all advice. I do not feel bad for them at all.

I want to hack a digital photo frame. They even have them already available with motion detectors in them and equipped with wifi. Why can’t I get it to display a web page? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Right. Based on our recent aerial interception of an ICBM, we totally need an aircraft carrier there goading them into more missile tests.

I agree, in a way. I guess I just assumed that all dealers would pay the same price for a car. And my point, in a very roundabout sort of way, is that negotiating on cars is stupid and probably usually screws the consumer at the benefit of the dealership...

Yes, the internet... so full of truth, accuracy, and clarity.

I’m considering one of these. Would you say the final number above is a good price? Was that recently? I’m full of questions, so thanks in advance.

Can you clarify the difference between dealer invoice and MSRP? Sorry for a dumb question, but I legit don’t know.

I totally get that you want to make money and the dealer wants to make a profit. But vehicle pricing from the consumer side is all smoke and mirrors. You put an MSRP on a vehicle that is NOT dealer cost and as a consumer I have no idea what the dealer is paying for the car I want to buy, or his profit margins or

So is this legitimate, that they literally won’t haggle with you? And if so, are their prices generally fair?

So this is what happens when two arrogant buffoons get to be world leaders...

It’s interesting that on Monday we were all celebrating the lives of those young Americans willing to give themselves up for their country and today we are daring another country to pick a fight with us so we can send more young people off to

Yeah, I’ve wondered if it drops my phone when I’m around another BT device (like a car with BT or someone jogging by with BT headphones). I haven’t been able to pinpoint it yet. I guess it’s not my phone b/c my BT headphones never lose connection. It’s kind of annoying, though, because it’s the second BT one I bought

What don’t you like about it? I have one and it drops the BT periodically and I’m not sure if it’s the Himbox, my phone, or the perils of BT.
