notice how nobody has refuted my statement at all; it's all name-calling because there is nothing incorrect there

so many beautiful quotes from that movie, and you choose the most overrated one

"unwilling witness."

You're assuming it's inherently embarrassing to have a cheating spouse. Some people like it. In fact, given survivorship bias, there's a very strong chance Clay encourages her cheating but disapproves of her lying.

But yeah LOL the dude is comfortable admitting his wife has had more than one sexual partner in her life,

That took about 19 seconds, including typing this recap

Jerry Jones already pulled a miracle tonight — convincing the NFL to upgrade the Soldier Field grass surface from Gettysburg's circa 1888

You had the right idea, you just way overplayed your hand.

Calling someone an anti-gay bigot is like calling someone an anti-black racist. Redundant, needlessly exacerbating, but ultimately correct.

"but this is an odd and scary trend."

Listen, the possibility exists that the couple fully agreed with the protests, but being white awkward people, this was their best idea. They saw a live news cam and said "let's do the hands up/don't shoot/chokehold #thing to prove we agree!" Then they went through with it, immediately realized how terrible their plan

That's hilarious! Also, when we played Maryland my senior year, I think every student had a Len Bias sign to this effect:

#NotAllScarfs

If I thought GIFs were inherently funny, and if I thought the Stephen Colbert popcorn/3D-glasses GIF is less than 2 years removed from being completely beaten to death, thennn I just might post it here, because these comments are going to be awesome.

"Please, there is help, you need not have a terrible time sleeping forever."

Damn I gotta start calling my weed "help"

Only at Gawker Media is it possible to fuck up a story calling Jameis Winston a bad person

he also accused Michael Carter-Williams of intentionally losing, so you're better off yelling at a cloud than discussing nuance with this author

I didn't even have to click through the statement to deduce that Draper intentionally omitted that part of it.

Because if Winston hadn't included it, you know damned well Draper would have explicitly mentioned that he never claimed to receive consent initially.

I'm a cherrypicker as well — it takes one to know one — but

Actually, I'm willing to bet this post was truly authored by Kevin Draper.

Jameis Winston saying something does not necessarily mean he believes it. If I believed I were falsely accused of such a despicable crime, I'd say pretty much anything to recover from it.

Preemptive note to the morons — I disagree with the headline, not the idea that Jameis Winston is likely a bad person.

"i cant believe NBC is going through with this broadcast, with what is going on a few blocks away"

- Gawker Media:

"here is a painstaking analysis of the entertainment from the broadcast"
