When I think about the slip-ups and mixed up words I’ve said, they usually relate to switching syllables and/or vowel sounds in either one word or two sequential words. Or, omitting a syllable by talking too quicly. Thus King Junior could become ‘K-unior’ or some other variation which can sound rather unfortunate.

The

god you’re lame.

Clearly, the real argument I guess here is: if Baby Hitler were a hot dog, would you eat him before he could eat himself?

Exactly, he’s a proven liar that never holds up his end. He made this bed sty. He can lay in it. It does *nothing* for democrats to compromise on the wall besides hurt them. This lays at the feet of Trump, and now McConnell.

It’s like going all-in in poker and the other player called and showed a hand that beat yours, so you’re just sitting there holding your losing cards. The game is over, you’ve lost, yet you sit there. Everyone is staring. It’s getting sad.

100%. The democrats can’t cave. If they do, they will never get anything they want again. Either Mitch needs to let the senate vote on a bipartisan solution that they can override if vetoed, or Trump needs to give in. If the shutdown continues, it’s clear that the republicans will continue to shoulder the blame by

Exactly - which is why I’m just viewing this as standard fluctuation.

And you’re far more charitable than I in assuming people without government assistance will finally blame That Asshole for misfortune befalling them - I mean, didn’t you hear? The Demmycrats took over the House, and they did it right when things

The US has a long standing policy of not negotiating with terrorists.  Same principle even if we elected the terrorist in question.

Exactly right. It’s not only the moral matter that the wall is a horribly xenophobic symbol, or the practical matter that it is a waste of billions of dollars, but the fact that if Democrats cave in this, then Congress, both chambers of which passed budget legislation without wall funding, is functionally no longer an

The two federal workers I know agree with you. I asked them both point blank (one on FB and one in real life) if they want the Democrats to just give him the money and move on and they both were like “what, so this happens again in a matter of months?”

“I think [Trump]’s going to agree to open up the government on a hope and a prayer when donkeys fly. OK?” Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy told the publication.

People don’t like AOC because she tweets about Cardi B. They like AOC because she tweets about taxing rich people at 70% to fix real problems in the world.   Centrist Democrats are desperately trying to ignore that part of her popularity.

She said this was nothing more than young people wearing “a bunch of red, white and blue, supporting their president.

A petty little stunt that just backfired and spooged all over his hog bitch face.... and tipped of our enemies to something we maybe wanted to keep quiet. Well! Just another Thursday in Trumpfuckistan.

Meanwhile his trip to Texas for a glorified photo op and propaganda video was worth the cost?

I personally dislike ‘webisodes’, mainly because if it isn’t important enough to put into the main show, then why bother? It’s not as if anything that happens in them couldn’t be put into show itself, and given that they don’t advance the plot in any serious way they are little extra for a show that shoved way too

“I don’t like this! I must destroy it!”
