If we don’t teach children the horrors that are possible in our human existence, then when those horrors arise they will be unprepared to face them. We have a generation of people who are determined to instill ignorance in their children on race, on the past, and it will spell disaster for the future.

Making Superman a somber dark affair was a huge mistake. Superman should always be hopeful, in the face of overwhelming stakes. The whole character is supposed to this beacon of hope in hard times, but they turned him into an overly dramatic Zeus with pathos and pain.

Actually the only thing missing was Yelena in the audience loving the whole thing. Seriously, cheese is part of the product, and I’m happy it is. Let DC be dower and gloomy and noir, and let Marvel be colorful and crazy and cheesy at times. There is room for both.

Some of the greatest works of art, engineering, and science were created by some of the worst examples of humanity. Seeking perfection from artists and people of all sorts regardless of context, is the worst thing to come out of this Hyper -‘Woke’ age.

You have to pause in the middle of watching an episode, go to Xray, and then pull them up. I’d argue that if you’re needing to use that to explain your show that ain’t ‘extra material’ but stuff you needed to integrate into your scripts, but whatever - at least it’s out there.

Ah yes, I’m sure the lack of seeing boobies, prostitutes and rape really brought down it’s score with a certain audience.

As a first timer to the series, I thought it was pretty good. IT’s a slow burn to be sure, but sometimes that’s ok. I’m just happy to see more big budget fantasy.

I think they should have followed the LOTR model, show us a map in the opening episode, or possibly show one in the opening credits.

This is a good thing. We don’t need another Game of Thrones.

She’s one of the biggest names on the planet, and with the end of RDJ’s and Chris Evans’s contracts keeping her lawyers happy is a no-brainer with the amount of money they have made.
