Exactly this. Teaching is one thing. Emulating their behavior and honoring their beliefs is another. They believed: that freedom was there natural god given right... and that ours was to be property, to be raped, tortured, beaten, worked until exhaustion, sold, mutilated, and murdered... at thier whim...with no rights…

This feels like one of those “feels good at the moment” things that will ultimately come back to haunt us. I get it, and yes we have the right to do this...

Depends on your POV, it’s a very nuanced conversation. Like a lot of things in life it’s too simple to say either was ‘wrong’. Attacking Schwimmer doesn’t help or change anything. And being partially ignorant of the issues as David was isn’t good either. But the best way forward is not angry recriminations and endless…

Yup... big Sanders supporter here. I think it makes sense for him to hold at least one more debate, get one more dose of M4A and GND out there, as well as call for major debt relief.
