Someone looked at the rear window of a pickup and thought, “That’s a good vehicle profile.”
When a friend was borrowing my car and I was out of town.
We have had a few preludes in my shop with these seats, they hold you decently in mild/moderate corners, but in high g load turns I imagine you might “pivot” out of the seat. We actually just swapped out a pair of these seats too, and although they badly need reupholstering you could get them on the chizeap (though…
I actually miss this kind of plain speak advertising, as opposed to this mess of bullshit now where Mercedes wants you to think existentially about what is luxury performance, every time they air an ad for a C class. That boat needs a pair of these.
Even the ford vans are actually pretty fun to push. I used to drive E150/250's back in my courier days, and had to deliver more than a few rush jobs.
They look reminiscent of an evolution of the fox platform, had they not gone with the SN95 design. That is, if you ignore the spoiler and tail lights.
