I would rather face a crazy person with a knife than be attacked by a crazy person with an automatic rifle from the 30th floor of a building. It’s a lot easier to run away from the crazy person with a knife.

Oh you mean the guy who was doing his job messed up the guy who shouldn’t have been driving? Boo hoo.
No, the NRA does not make people crazy, but they are adamantly against any solutions to this problem that involve any form of what people call “gun control,” no matter how modest it may be.
Because of this, people feel that the NRA is blocking things that may have helped prevent situations like this.
Of course, nobody…
Also, David, you continue to have/write the best stories.
NRA does not donate to dems. Pretty well known that democrats want some form of gun control, which is basically what the NRA is obviously against.
ON THE OTHER HAND, he’s minding his own business, just doing his thing and trying to sell his old car. I bet he’s not even posting shitty comments about people he’s never met on the internet.
I bet you could get contact high from beating any cushion and inhaling within a 15 foot radius of that thing. From either owner.
Don’t live in a HOA property, plain and simple.
What’s making it a “pain in the ass” to deal with? I’m genuinely curious to hear how this could be a bother. It’s not like he’s warming up his Cummins at 5 AM, or putting up obnoxiously bright Christmas lights in November. It also seems like street parking isn’t an issue there, considering there are tons of empty…
I live in a very nice suburb of Boston. We don’t have an HOA. And no one does anything that bothers me.
If my neighbor parked a tank on the street, the only one who would get tired of anything would be the owner who would get tired of me knocking on his door, begging him to let me drive his tank.
In the Uber app, there’s a huge fucking WARNING that says surge pricing is in effect. I can’t recall if it specifies just how much impact it will have though, because most of my business travel is in shitholes where no one else cares to go.
That’s why there are laws preventing cab companies from doing this...somehow Uber gets to skirt the rules and gouge people.
There are plenty of places in the world where a 5 series would stick out like a sore thumb.
I went there a few times. It’s not that bad. It has some dangerous cities but so does the U.S.
This isn’t for boring people, it’s for people who don’t want to be noticed. Avoiding confrontation entirely is far better than having to rely on the armor, so not making yourself a target is important.
Fuck off yourself.
You’re adorable. You punch your strawman like a child with a doll; inconsequentially to adults.
This stuff makes me sick and has been going on far too long.
I know this is sort of car related, but it has no broader social interest (like Charlottesville did as it spoke to the polarization happening in the country) and therefore seems to involve sharing gratuitous violence for the sake of gratuitous violence. On what internal grounds did you decide this is worthy of…
