Honda Nerds: What do you guys know about this new generation? Is it on the same platform? Do you think Honda worked out all the kinks from the last gen? In other words, should I wait until the 2nd year to buy this?

I am by no means a Tesla fan. I actually find their exteriors (on all their models) pretty boring. I also understand the hate in the comments. As someone who has lived in the Bay Area for the last 20 years and watched it get overrun with tech assholes I too associate Tesla with douchebaggery.
