This. Will. Happen.

A story: a couple of summers ago I was at an event in Poland held on a massive grass airfield. My daughter came along with me for grins, and we rented a Nissan Qashqai, equipped with a 6-speed manual. She had never seen such a beast before, and asked, essentially, “WTF?,” albeit in a polite manner.

But there is still cocaine and hookers right!?

At some point in the last 3-4 years, everyone decided that the best internet memes are the most pointless ones that make the least sense. I’m 25, and I don’t get it either.

3rd Gear: I drive for Uber and Lyft on the weekends in Kansas City for extra cash. Well, I did before the pandemic. Haven’t been out since February. I typically drive 10-12 hours Friday night and Saturday night. I would typically earn $250-$300 each night and put on around 200 miles each night in a 2017 Acadia that

“It’s only been six years”

The fact that Tracing Point were forced to go to the FIA to try and prove they hadn’t just painted a W10 pink is pretty unusual (the Sky commentators actually referred to it as “the pink Mercedes” on several occasions this weekend).

Steelies

Starts at 28,500 for the 4 door base. cant seem to find the 2 door base but if its 3-4 grand less that pretty damn good

The FIA was happy with the design process Racing Point demonstrated, but it might not have had complete access. Also, the FIA had approved DAS, only for Red Bull to find a previously overlooked weakness. Apparently the brake ducts are in a grey area, because they could be bought in last year, but can not this year.

Make hay while the sun shines. My income depends on home sales. I can work 10 hours a day every day right now if I wanted to. And I’m coming close to that, because unless the feds get off their ass and do their jobs of running the country, we’re in for a fucking dark and cold winter. Everyone around me is living like

I’m writing a series of articles for the local paper on interesting cars in local garages. For my last story I got to drive a mint condition 1979 Mazda RX-7. Great experience.

FTFY:

If you use a hacksaw or a grinder, yes.

Problem is, this is no longer an S2000.  It’s the fat Elvis version of it’s original glorious self.  Huge CP!

Long sigh . . . another Some Guys Project where he wants all his “investment” back. Doesn’t work that way.

While Tom is technically correct I think he misses the real issue here.  Americans in general are spending more than they can afford on cars they don’t need.  In 2019 the average cost of a car was $34,000, that is up 2% from the year before and has been increasing at a rate greater than inflation for over 20 years.

Senna wrecked Prost, intentionally, in a flat corner. On the first lap. To seal a championship. In cars that were deathtraps.
