Someone has taken a near bulletproof drivetrain and swapped it out for something that has half the performance, half the range, all the downsides of charging a battery pack and added 400 lbs to the weight of the vehicle. 7500 at the crank. Final drives are around 1:3 if memory serves so 3 X 7500 at the wheels. There were no top fuel dragsters 100 years ago LOL. Electric cars have been around for 100 years and more. Top fuel engines do not run in a diesel mode by the way, urban legend.
