I’ll double that advice about southbend clutch. I have a 2000 Celica gts that received a new southbend clutch in 2006 and it has been rock solid for 1ook miles even after some hard clutch drops and spirited driving.

Let’s say I bought it for 6k, I’d have fun with it but I wouldn’t love it. It’s not my project to invest my time and effort. I’m not going to spend hours chasing a ground out that is causing issues. Your project is your’s, eat the loss and move on if you have no love for it anymore.
