Even though we get bits and pieces of each staff writer, we never get to see the full story of how they got there. It would be cool to know how each of you ended up there.

What I want to know is what bank would actually finance this at double the cost of msrp? I’m sure they take one look, new and or used and say “ha-ha, nice try.”

    Love is a crazy thing.

I’ve been tempted to do the course on one of their half off sales, but I’m curious as to what went wrong. Why two days in hotel, no track time?

Am I wrong in thinking it looks like a 2000 model GTO?

I can’t help but think that it’s a step back for hybrid tech. As crazy as these cars are, that reach for the stars tech does trickle down eventually.

Can we now change the name of Hitchcock’s The Birds to something more appropriate like, Tiny Dinosaurs That Kill.  Makes it more accurate to me.

I’m okay with the contraction of the brand. I seriously considered a bike this year and still plan on doing a safety course, but I never once looked at Harley. I am more interested in street bikes and cafe racers. Lower cost and more options are what I want.

Don’t quote me, but I thought it had more to do with gray market imports undercuting local sales in North America in relation to trim level and engine packages. Why pay more when you could get the one with more power and pay less due to the strength of the dollar. I could be wrong, age tends to do that.

While I can agree that this example is a nice one, I still have a hard time thinking that Supras will march on to be classics or ever justify that price. For contrast the most lusted after Toyota, the 2000 GT, has that classic pedigree and rarity that makes investors park massive sums of money to see it appreciate.

It’s hard to say it as a Toyota fan, but this car is dead to me. The market valuation of the car is totally upside down. They would be more attractive if the good ones were listed in the mid 40k’s, but instead even high mileage ones are going for 60k.

The front is not bad at all, but the back is a mess of cuv lines wings and empty inserts. They should of extended the roofline, like a Mazda 3, and called it a day.

There is nothing worse than a machine that does not get a chance to do what it’s meant to do. Why have the thing outlive you and have no beautiful memories of the drive?

Come on, where else are you going to get a show along with lighting the path for you?

It only goes to show that these guys do amazing things riding around on two contact patches that can’t be wider than a dollar bill. Or is it even smaller?

I hate to agree with you on this one because I like Stef’s articles, but you are right.

All of Oklahoma. On a drive from San Antonio to Chicago it was the worst. There was a 50 mile stretch that made a thwump sound every three seconds at 80 mph. Thank God I crossed at night.

What you call the death wobble is actually a feature to help you hit higher mpg numbers. Going 80, wobble doesn’t think so.

Is there anything a small block Chevy can’t power? I bet our first intergalactic spaceship will have a small block somewhere on board.

I wonder how it will affect the cars? Will it slow them or destabilize them? Seems like shark fins are going on lots of race cars, it must do something for the aero.
