Reminds me of when my wife, who’s Hispanic and an attorney who graduated from a top law school, went to a family baby shower where she played boggle with a bunch of middle aged white ladies (in-laws of a cousin). Unintentionally, she utterly wrecked them, and apparently got some really weird reactions.

It’s quite impressive how many cliched areas she went to in that 54 seconds, with claiming to be above personal attacks before then immediately attacking his intelligence being the main one.

I mean, it’s surreal humor. It’s not for everyone. Personally, I like it, I like the fact that it makes no sense and everyone just goes along with it.

Every time a character swings a sword, 15 spectators will react like their either surprised or smug. The other character swings back, and the 15 spectators will again react, but switching the smug and surprised.

If it’s anything like One Piece, Rickon dying is part of the “Last time on Game of Thrones” montage for 18 episodes in a row.

Except that long runners are dwindling fewer and fewer in today’s anime market. Most series run on 12/13-episode seasons now, with really popular or marketable ones getting 26-episode seasons. The only longrunners now are the proven cash cows that have 50 video games and show a movie every year.

We’ve reached a point where anyone who sees an actual Nazi and says “Hey maybe we should hear them out/give them a chance..” needs to be considered at minimum a sympathizer.
