I feel like I’ll be writing about TFA specifics for the next week at least, but I will say this: The Force Awakens isn’t perfect. There’s some weird plot stuff and a few problems for sure.

Plus, how did they rock those super Jedi-abs? C’baoth is swole.
I think this absolutely fascinating. It was basically a massive crapshoot. But, it paid off. I think every single new release topped the NYT Bestsellers list for the first 9 or so years. Plus it gave us Mara Jade. Everyone deserves to have Mara Jade in their life.
Man, seeing that Heir to the Empire cover for the first time at Waldenbooks was like the first moment of a new chapter of my life. I had been subsisting on West End gamebooks for four years, and all of a sudden - the sequel to Return of the Jedi! Some actual meat on the bone!
For nearly 25 years, the Star Wars Expanded Universe seemed like an unstoppable juggernaut of books, comics, and…
To be fair, they fourth-walled FU at the end of the season two premier with his gift cuff links.
Post-credits scene.
Antarctica, night.
Could all be a facade!
Said it before, saying it again: this Apocalypse looks like a one-off alien from Farscape.
Yes, I know. I’m pointing out that it is particularly egregious because of its false nature. Don’t get so het up for no reason. Defensiveness is never a good look.
Contrary to what the film and comics industries believe, there is a limit to the number of times you can save/end the world before it becomes boring.
The “cyborg fart” as it is referred-to in some circles.
How could they do this? Simple. It’s called the law. Something you were supposed to uphold, not break.
Good thing we don’t have to see the movie and can just take your word for it
Same. I was actually a tiny bit underwhelmed by this trailer. It relied so much on effects shots and not really driving any of the narrative outside of “this is all-out war”, which I guess could actually be the movie. But, yes, I love the last two so much I will be seeing this on the first day. Days of Future Past was…
I agree, and it’s especially disappointing since this storyline is from my height of comics collecting. It’s also irritating to watch Singer repeatedly miss the mark with the X-Men and make enough money for Fox to press on with the franchise. The mutants need some time away from the screen, and then some entirely new…
I really loved the voice they used in the cartoon series in the 9os. It actually made me fear that character when on screen.
To all those saying to wait for his “final look” and that that the early shots we saw were somehow gonna change, I say Nope. Still don’t like the look of Apocalypse.
Apocalypse is by far my favorite comic book character. And this...oy. He looks like someone apocosplaying En Sabah Nur. The voice should inspire fear and awe, like a James Earl Jones kind of thing. But nope.
