I think it’s millenials waking up to the fact that hero culture where we believe a person (usually a guy) is someone who is genuinely a good person because they sound charismatic. Almost all of the people I admired is an older millennial to one degree or another have proven to be terrible people. This isn’t an excuse…

It seems like every Star Trek is almost always turbulent and a crazy power struggle in it’s first two seasons. TNG had virtual brawls over writing and producing... look it up every Star Trek show has had crazy first and second seasons.
