I think it’s millenials waking up to the fact that hero culture where we believe a person (usually a guy) is someone who is genuinely a good person because they sound charismatic. Almost all of the people I admired is an older millennial to one degree or another have proven to be terrible people. This isn’t an excuse…

Wanting your son or daughter to succeed on thier own merits is an admirable position. He can’t help being a famous name, but not endorsing him about the only thing he can do to ensure that this happens.

Even with all that... the position is pretty clear. He loves his son, but endorsing him publicly like that would be contrary to his stand on nepotism and dynastic politics.

Yeah that was both an insult and a little slimy thing to say to a man’s father.

Is there a chance they have articles being written by an AI press construct? It seems like this is what happens when you put information into some sort of distiller, and set it to automatic. The stories read like wikipedia articles with ocassional strings of actual written content.

Ali went to jail over his convictions, and withstood the battering of both Joe Frasier and most of white america who wanted to literally kill him for changing his name, and opposing an unjust war. This to me is how the process should work... the fringes push the centrists to adopt positions that are more palatable to the majority. We may never have Denmark style socialism... but we can move towards that direction if we keep the fire to the feet of the centrists. We need people like Sanders to keep democrats…
