Thank you for letting me know. It makes more sense. What a weird hobby, spending your free time using something close to someone’s name.

Yep, the pendulum swung back too quickly on Pitt - he got his Oscar, his rehab story, and of course Angelina got painted as your classic unreliable narrator / imperfect victim. Unless Pitt creeped into about 450 teenage girls’ DMs, he’s good for at least ten more media cycles.

I hear Jeff Garlin’s schedule has opened up too.

The fact they brought back Mark Strong and Mr Mind just to poke fun at the absurdity was brilliant.

Hell, ‘Glass Onion’ was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars, on the grounds that it was adapted from the other movie about the same guy.

Except “based on existing IP” doesn’t mean “formulaic, bad movies with little to no substance” that give the audience “few viewing alternatives.” “Based on existing IP” includes anything adapted from a book, play, TV show, video game, as well as movie sequels. As for few viewing alternatives, I haven’t seen a Marvel

But you don’t understand! A movie has either got to be Oscar-worthy or a flaming dumpster fire! There can be no middle ground; that way lies madness!

No, the 10 year old said it was good but he liked the first one better. His mother, a grown adult woman, said it wasn’t boring.

I liked it. It just felt like the script could have used another pass. I felt like some beats took too long to set up, and it felt like there were too many MacGuffins. I’m sure at least some of that was a result of trying to give all six of the Shazams something to do (and yet, Mary Marvel really ends up with

The troll account

65 was such a weird movie, like a Rod Serling-era Twilight Zone episode awkwardly expanded to feature length.

“Gay people exist” = “agenda”.

I haven’t seen the second one or heard anything about it, but I immiediatley knew which character “dudebro” was talking about and it definitely isn’t a retcon.

Thanks for agreeing that the “gay agenda” is to simply be treated as ordinary human beings worthy of the same respect as straight people.

The character being gay was foreshadowed in the first film, so it’s not a retcon. He’s a supporting character & his orientation isn’t highlighted in the marketing, so it’s not like this was a prime factor in SHAZAM 2's underwhelming box office.

I don’t believe you’re actually LOLing

As someone who owns an ’07 orange Honda Fit, I was thrilled to see myself represented on screen in 2 Shazam 2 Fury.

Oh shocking a working actor took a job for work. This isn’t a burn as anyone who is or knows an actor knows. Plus what about this: “I loved the first movie, and the fact that they even wanted me to come in for a callback and then a camera read and then everything in between, I’m so lucky that I got this job,” Zegler

Oh damn, are you saying that a TV show known for mixing episodic and serialized narratives that is only 3 episodes into its current season didn’t answer all of your questions about the plot and character arcs of this season? That’s so weird, surely no other TV show has ever done that. I swear to god, no one on the

I think its good and even necessary for the longevity of massive universes like Star Wars to have different flavors and approaches, but this one definitely felt like Favreau got a look at Andor and thought they were stealing his lunch a little
