Good. Hiring one of the best comedy writers of our era for a comedy sketch and preventing him from ad-libbing would have been a waste of everyone’s time.

I KNEW he was making all that stuff up!
I wonder what he ad-libbed. The ending has Robinson basically repeating what Odenkirk said in a way that makes it seem like he’s being tortured to do so - would be really impressive if he delivered his lines there while working off of ad-libbed material from Bob.
More of a Movement.
Is Natalie Portman really going to do a bunch of Avengers movies? It’s one thing to do a fun movie with Taika Waititi. It’s another to commit to several very-long shoots when you’re in your 40s and have kids and Oscars.
Hey man “somehow Palpatine returned”
I did this thing where I have enjoyed shang-chi, Hawkeye, etc for the stories they told and not the sequels or events they were setting up
Heck, if you look back on those first phases, they didn’t have a coherent plan pre-Endgame; from what I know it seems like they had some ideas, but there are elements added to movies that were meant to pay off later but got shelved. I think you’re right that they stuck the landing there by staying nimble and…
“Casual” fans had no idea who Thanos was in 2012 either.
I’m always a little puzzled by people who are unhappy that they can’t tell what this phase is “leading up” to. The fact that several of the movies lately are closing off more branches than they’re opening feels more like a relief than a burden, to me at least.
But complaining and impatience is what being a fan on the internet is all about!
The Buzzfeed-ification of a once glorious site continues.
I saw the headline and I was like ‘oh, huh, there was some Homecoming crossover I missed’ thinking it was something sneaky but no, it was just the show’s open use of of a character from the MCU’s large roster.
“AND THEN I PUT THE BLOODY BIBLE IN THE BLOODY FICTION SECTION AT ME LOCAL BARNES AND NOBLE!!!”
Hey, it’s Jimmy Smits! I got impatient so I figured I’d leave a message with details of that big galactic secret we’re keeping about the boy on Tatooine with Owen! I mean, I guess I could have said “the thing in the place with you-know-who” since you do already know who and all, but I... did not do that.
The show was long finished shooting before it started airing. And having a bunch of nerds complain that a live action person doesn’t fully resemble a cartoon isn’t the kind of argument anyone should ever take seriously anyway.
Agreed. All media should be made out of spite. (And thankfully it's kind of already happening.)
If you had told me even a year or two ago that I would someday be unironically excited about a live action Barbie movie, I would have had my doubts. As dark as this timeline is, there are still some bright surprises left.
“You’ve made a huge mistake.”
A few friends had a similar conversation with me not too long ago. I went to rehab and everything, and have been sober since. It really is crazy how much your life improves if you just let it. About to hit my 6 months sobriety date, which I know isn’t that long, but for me it’s a lifetime.
