I love that I can guess its a Torch article just by the odd little car pictured with the article.
I have a buddy in Ireland who seconded “Irish Car Bomb” is one they have an issue with, and that one I totally get.
I missed that news story that Peugeotis coming back. This makes me very happy, and I think I know what I’m buying in the likely 5+ years time this’ll take.
The added features are nice, but I definitely agree that the power is super lacking. If they released it with a Turbo then maybe we could talk, but right now its just a solid commuter pretending to have personality.
Its full of compromises, but fully compromising a full requirement isn’t the best one to make
I mean, in truth its both. If he doubles his mileage then the fuel cost is halved either way
So I’m gonna say the Juke Nismo is probably the best idea. The Juke is fun and more fuel efficient with a great set of features that’ll stand out.
Its amazing Torch hasn’t damaged a rare car, or himself
I’m one of those sorry sods that hasn’t quite yet learned manual, so I’m admittedly handicapping myself a bit more. Its something I’m looking to learn before buying my next car though. But honestly I’m a little done with giving Honda a chance for fun at my budget. I tried the Fit, which admittedly felt a bit better…
Unless you get the SI or the Type-R, not really (I hear the newer hatchback version may be better, but that’s too close for me) I can’t knock the car either as I haven’t had a single mechanical issue with it in 3 years, and it got great mileage. But I’m itching to get out of it in these last few months of this lease.

I think a WRX could remain fun up to that point. Treat it right and they last a while
David, your mail Jeep is too dead. This is your true destiny
Fiat would like a word with you
That’s what I felt about my base Civic sedan. I leased it at first thinking “I’ll want to buy this at the end as it will last forever” but like a year later I was like “Why is driving this thing such a monotonous chore? I need to get out of this thing!”
You’re our favorite broken clock this week, David
They laid off the HOTS eSports team which wasn’t doing well at all and honestly didn’t do great outside of the BlizzCon tournament (some could say Heroes of the Dorm too, but even though I liked it I didn’t even keep up with it)
The game certainly isn’t a revelation on the open world blow ‘em up style, but its damn fun. Lots of people are shitting on it a lot more than I think it deserves. Its good fun and well worth the Game Pass price, and for my money potentially worth the full price.
The wagon is kinda like a hatchback with more space. I get if they said they don’t need that space, that’s fine. But calling it old is just moronic.
$4,500 is a very high price for essentially a chassis, some body, and wheels. The work alone is probably double that, then engine and paint.
