I usually watch, but somehow didn’t realize it was even on. Watched Monsieur Spade instead.

I know it’s a widely used term, but if I was writing about Vergara’s leading role in anything, I’d do a bit of wordsmithing to get “titular” out of the sentence.

I really like that they’ve been consistent with Roy’s character.  His utter disregard for the well being of Gator and his wife ring true for a character who clearly is only concerned about himself.

I guess I could read the wiki about it, but why do the Globes even exist...they primarily seem to function as a tool for handicapping the Emmys and Oscars.   The one aspect of them that appeals is the unpredictability that comes with letting everyone get drunk during the proceedings.

I thought the same, but the reviewer makes a good point...when being hunted, even a few seconds makes a difference. I tend to confirm GPS directions by looking at street signs as GPS directions aren’t always 100% accurate.  Also if you are in a neighborhood like that and have short streets that may only run a few

Can’t wait for next year when Netflix releases a games show based on the Hunger Games.

Honestly, UB40 should also be on here for Red Red Wine.   Sure it was a hit for them, but they took a beautifully, sad, ballad about a guy who has to be drunk all the time to forget a lost love, and turned it into a f***ing party tune.

I keep waiting for Morgan to offer to bundle somebody’s home and land speeder insurance.

No solution here, which is why when I read this, I thought, you know what, maybe Maher is doing the right thing here.   The show will probably be drudgery for those who were in it for the jokes, and that will serve as an example of how important to good TV writers are, and at the same time, put some money back into

I wish they’d just start airing this in the evenings in the US instead of the American original.

When I heard about this, I thought, for f***’s sake do we really need another take on Willie Wonka?   After watching the trailer, I got my answer...nope.   It looks like a well put together production, but seems really redundant.

I’m not totally up to date on all the MCU stuff…I’ve watched maybe half the movie so sorry if this is a dumb question.   So Fury has a wife?  And she’s totally cool with him living off the planet for years with seemingly no intention of coming back?   And it’s no big deal he’s back?   I get that she’s a Skrull, but it

I binged and watched the whole thing over about 4 days.   I loved it, but totally agree they should have dropped one or maybe two episodes per week instead.   I mean hell, the writers strike is dragging on.   What’s the damn rush.

It’s no surprise Buda won the season. He dominated throughout. His technical skills are amazing. I feel his food is almost too precious, but then again, that’s what one pays for if they go to a place like say The French Laundry, and clearly that’s the sort of cooking Buda wants to do.

I agree the edit may have made it seem closer than it was, but if that is the case, it was a really good edit.   All the judges seemed really torn up about the fact that Sarah’s liver dish was too rare, and it certainly seemed that it would have made it a more difficult decision for them.   The thing that killed me

Yeah, I like Gabri, but he has been flirting with elimination for like 2/3 of the season.   Luckily for him in the one challenge that really mattered, he put up a plate of food that was good enough to make it through.

I too feel that it appears that this is Buda’s competition to lose this season, however, as long as they stick with the final challenge format they seemed to settle on for the past several seasons, which is basically, you have plenty of money, and plenty of time, no restrictions, cook us the best meal you can, the

  • “Hey, I’m about to take a shit in your husband’s mouth, and I’m pretty sure he’s gonna tell me it tastes like coq au vin.”

Yeah, and it’s one of those times, where the competition is so good, they sent someone home for a tasty dish. People liked it, but there were no truly bad dishes, so they had to get picky. Inconsistent pasta and not being modern enough to match the rest of the very modern menu was the worst that could be said about it.

I’m not sure they bought it though.   It actually looks like they took it to the register, but never actually had it rung up.    Not sure how they could fix that.   Send a production assistant to run back to Whole Foods to get it?   By the time they noticed, all that stuff had probably been put back on the shelves.
