Football has become a sport of pain infliction to the opponent and nothing more. Proper tackling is no longer taught, as people LIKE to see the pain infliction. And when someone gets hurt, it becomes unfortunate. What a sorry state of affairs. I thought it was bad 40+ years ago, and it has only gotten worse.
