by the by, I emailed you what I hope would be approximately something Roo would be willing to consider in a similar vein but while there’s still a kinja I aim to prop a door open along these sort of lines for anyone that might have a use for such a hole-in-the-wall.

All of y’all are amazing - I can’t even begin to find all the people that deserve thank yous but you are a little angel & you’re doing the lord’s work, my friend...& going at it like a yeoman, at that.

Speaking for myself it shakes out a little like this.

I’m arguably too old to keep up with the boundless & swift enthusiasm of the Discord server but I’ve caved to the point of joining r/SplinterRIP...it would be an honour & a privilege to count any & all ‘thinkers who might like a new watering hole to visit...

As I mentioned to someone else, if you’re “owt like me” then you might struggle to hack the pace on Discord (unless you’re the sort of old school that wishes they could live in IMs) but r/SplinterRIP now exists & I feel like I just made it into the internet’s phone book.

Some complete legend or other has also founded r/SplinterRIP.

There are definitely a few people who very much know what they’re up to on the Discord thing but I’ve been to busy trying to get the tour bus up & running...so until the iceberg has its way with Kinja’s titanic issues...I’ll keep trying to find you all wherever I can.

In the meantime, Jake says hi to all the nice people like yourself...
