He’s got the editorial talent of a goat.

I’m going to dissect this bullshit one bit at a time:

Sam Barsanti Simulator

I think that the whole piece should be retracted. One other thing that gets me is that this is how Tenreyro’s other post about this bullying bullshit ends:

I love how this same writer has written not one but two posts about Teigen that have worked to minimize how fucked up it was to bully someone by telling them to kill themselves: “Teigen took accountability, apologizing to Stodden in a Twitter thread. But because she knew her past actions would overshadow the surprise

You write for a website (and family of websites) that just tried to paint someone as a racist because in 1999 at age 19 her parents made her go to a ball that had started allowing Black people to join an insufficient amount of time (20 years) prior to that.

There is blankness to Lively, like she isn’t ever bad at acting but I only remember her because the media pushes her and (I hate to say this) she is married to Ryan Reynolds. It’s kinda like Armie Hammer (before we learned all that horribleness) but I didn’t get why he kept getting cast. He wasn’t bad, he even was

I really only like Jackie Brown. The ultraviolence has never impressed me, and I feel like he uses it to patch a lot of holes. I agree that he has a very “high floor” though.

As I said, the point is pedantic. Palicki and Common are arguably more important to the story (because they are members of Wick’s assassin fraternity) and are definitely more colorful than the henchmen. I might be technically correct, but you’d probably win most of the debates.

There’s a difference between basing your story on a legend, on a belief, on a rumor, or basing it on a lie deliberately manufactured for profit and self-aggrandizement.

Ironically I like Death-Proof a lot. In many ways it’s a piece of shit, but it sets out to have one scene where Kurt Russell kills a bunch of people with his car and another scene where a bunch of people kill Kurt Russell with their car, and it delivers on both. It’s tossed-off with panache (I feel the same way about

I really liked when the same story about a teenager who died during an exorcism was adapted into the German movie Requiem and the American movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose. One of them is about a young woman’s life being destroyed by neuropsychiatric disease and religious fanaticism. The other is about the courts

Django Unchained is one of the only movies I’ve seen in the theater that received a standing ovation. It was a matinee showing weeks after the movie came out, at a multiplex, with a mid-sized crowd, and everyone felt inspired to jump to their feet and applaud when that plantation blew up.

Every couple years I sit down and watch all of Frisky Dingo across 2-4 viewings (depending on my available free time). Watching a bunch in a row and seeing those jokes stack never ceases to delight me (a season at a time is best, as you mention the finales are all pay off), it is probably one of my favorite comedy

You forgot the best and most relevant one...

Are we being fun-hating downers who are overthinking something...?

What do you think?

Are we being fun-hating downers who are overthinking something that everyone will recognize is obviously a joke?”

I just moved back to BC after ten+ years in Alberta. I was always fairly neutral about previous Alberta Cons. Really, not great, but more centre... the NDP was outstanding. They had some fuck-ups, for sure.
