Goddamn, Mads Mikkelsen is a good-looking man.

Absolutely underrated comment. I don’t like that Republicans can push around Cabinet picks but Tanden was problematic for exactly that reason. May we have Katie Porter step up? I’m ready for her to cut it up some more and get a bigger stage and do that good damage.
Woman also thankfully wasn’t given a job because she spent a decade lobbying for military contractors and middle eastern nations to democratic politicians.
Oh shit, I agree with a Daily Mail comment.
I find it odd that a 24 year-old is constantly having her ‘failed relationships’ referred to. We’re they all supposed to end in marriage? How many ‘failed relationships’ has Leo DiCaprio had now that he’s 39? Why is it that his numerous relationships are never referred to as failed but those of a 24 year-old girl,…
God I’ll be happy when her fanbase ages out of marketing relevance. Imagine harassing some corporate social media team because a terrible show made a bad joke about a singer whose music you like.
It’s a lazy joke, but I don’t see how it’s “deeply sexist.” It’s okay to take a pitch from time to time. Not everything is a federal case.
Thank you to Taylor Swift for letting me know that a Netflix show I’ve never heard of made an obvious joke at your expense.
Hooray! Sia’s ableist movie lost.
It’s been a surprisingly good year for film, one of the few upsides (that it should go without saying are not worth the horrific tragedy) of COVID has been the increased focus on smaller, generally more interesting films. It’s the Globes being a joke of an award ceremony that is the problem here.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend made this exact same joke, in a better way, 5 years ago:
Wanted is awful. Of his three initial creator-owned series, Chosen is by far the best. Unfunnies and Wanted are both profoundly off-putting and full of the rampant shock value Millar was really into at the time.
Agreed. I am not open hostile to either, in fact I love a lot of Bruce’s work, and certainly do appreciate Obama’s views and person.
Hey, can Ted Cruz come too?
Can’t wait to hear Shearer’s terrible, irrelevant take on this news.
Much like Aubrey, I went into that Dr. Oz episode thinking “well, I already know how bad this is - it’ll still be cathartic of course, but yeah.” Nope! Didn’t know it all! It was much worse than I thought!
Maintenance Phase is just so, so good as a podcast. I love singing its praises to anyone who will listen because…
Kind of, but if it’s a choice of subject for a Sia/Ziegler dance movie that’s appropriation. If it’s a movie that must be about autism and they chose to star Ziegler that’s more about representation (perhaps with a side of appropriation as well, depending.)
Yeah but the question is, did she want to make a dance movie starring Maddie (who seems to be her recurring muse/thinly veiled stand-in for some aspect of herself) or did she want to tell a story about autism? I’m putting all of my money on the former. Ziegler was almost certainly going to be the star of Sia’s first…
Would Sia have ever cast anyone but Ziegler? I have to think the movie was written with her in mind from the beginning and no one else would be considered. I also have to wonder if she really wanted to tell a story about autism or just saw it as a way to quickly define the character and get to the dance.
I’m glad to hear lung cancer has won its battle with Rush Limbaugh.
