Let’s not stop there with this guy- I feel like you could dip your toe in this guy’s history and find that there are far sicker systemic issues with his beliefs. He seems like a “wife can’t say no in the bedroom” kind of guy.

It’s a kids show ultimately so we can’t really complain.

I can appreciate that others like it, for sure.

I think what I dislike about it is just that it’s very obviously digital. I prefer a more classic animation- Lower Decks is some fine animation IMO.

I appreciate this animation!

“the most innovative man of the 21st Century, Elon Musk”

What is up with that art style? Look what they have done to my Star Trek!

Regardless of what she’s done in the time being, Rowling still goes off on the stupid “protect girls in the bathroom” diatribe and that is unhealthy.

Not every stereotype that presents itself is meant with malice of even intentional, but if that’s exactly what you’re looking for you’re going to find it.

Did you pointedly choose to not bring up the hook-nosed bug alien that is shrewd about money? The Phantom Menace is even more egregious with its cultural stereotypes (even ignoring the race of aliens that are horrifying asian charicatures).

ALIEN³ is such a black sheep. I think it kills it on concept, Fincher’s shooting is on point, and the acting is great. That said, I can understand that a lot of people don’t appreciate it following up Aliens, but hey- the franchise track record post Fincher has been showing that we can do worse!

Holy shit. I can’t unsee this now- his work seems like he exclusively uses “adult film” stores as his frame of reference.

So a video edit made over a week ago, that imagines a fantastical interview, is news?

I assume that his role in the new film will be about splitting apart the mages due to Strange’s mistakes, and we will conveniently forget about Mordo’s credit stinger.

Let’s be honest, connective tissue in between Marvel films has been loose at best for years. Tony Stark between Iron Man 3 and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jane Foster getting nope’d out of the franchise between Thors, Wanda’s wild character development between ALL of the stuff she’s in- the MCU has always been about the

There’s just something really gross when a person with such a strong following revels in cruelty. I suppose it’s good for Morrisey to not have reveled in the anti-trans row sweeping the UK as of late, but I guess race is his favourite flavour of bigotry.

Yeah it’s pretty obvious Clapton has just always been a reactionary that gets pissy when the times change- an influx of immigrants to UK? Well, now my image of classic (read: white) UK is under threat. Deadly disease requires society to work together and isolate then vaccinate? I think my personal choices are more

lol! TBH one of my biggest gripes is the Twins episode, “riding star destroyers at light speed” and “light sabers that are multi-tailed whips” are about two of the most metal sounding but otherwise egregious additions to SW lore.

I’m more of an AltaVista baby...

I went in with a lot of excitement for Star Wars Visions, and found a decent amount of it pretty mediocre. Over half of the stories really kind of sucked, but at least most of the episodes looked absolutely stunning.
