I’m all forgiveness but I’m not about completely forgetting that type of violence

Dowd’s framing of Wahlberg is definitely devoid of any well-thought-out perspective of a rehabilitation of a hateful person, so I guess Dowd is the type that very much would answer you no: a person who committed a hate crime is two-dimensional and cannot develop empathy, regardless of time.
I may be full of myself, but I never thought I’m going to be able to police anyone’s wont. I’m just curious if confirming He Who Remains as Kang has any value, because A) Loki pretty well established that variants have enough autonomy to be distinct persons from one another, and 2) our knowledge of what Kang is going…
I don’t really get what distinction we’re drawing by calling him “Kang”- the “He Who Remains” character felt like he drew a distinction for himself as much as Sylvie drew one for herself. I’d assume we aren’t getting anything more of that character, so he’s pretty much “He Who Remains” for all it’s worth. Jonathan…
If we’re taking the mid-tier works of an author and quizzing non-fans of said author, alternatively I don’t think many Neil Gaiman fans could remember many details of Johnny and the Bomb.
It’s the only book I have ever bought the first edition of, mostly because I didn’t know it was a thing until I visited my bookstore and it had come out like a month prior. I’ve read it a couple times, and the most I remember is that there’s a brother, Anansi is missing/dead, and there’s a dragon that’s afraid of…
It would be the bloodiest version of My Dinner with Andre.
This will most likely be an unfortunate occurrence that continues to happen as production attempt to return to normal while cities loosen mandates around masks and social distancing.
I’m sad that since they’re different productions, we won’t get more Orlando Jones. If they pull that off, I’m in 100%.
Can we use Brett Ratner as a placeholder? I feel he never gets the full disrespect he’s owed.
Absolutely love his rationale on his support for the football players, with just a simple messaging it’s recognizing the humanity and endeavor of these athletes that too many fans are ready to disregard.
Oh yeah- it’s become a bit harder for the corporations and whatever media they have in their pocket to spin a yarn quite as much as what had happened with McD & their coffee.
The details of the thing really set off my claustrophobia. It could very well be one of the more realistic, worst ways I could really end up.
Christ alive, people need reading skills.
I initially thought this was a stupid games/stupid prizes scenario, but the actual story is a horrifically sad nightmare.
I'm not misrepresenting it, you are misreading my comment. I'm saying that both scenarios are times that the surface detail looks like stupidity on the victim's part, but more context proves gross negligence on the part of the company.
lol you are so riled up. Take deep breaths, buddy.
TBH, this movie just seems like it’s about a hate triangle between Comer, Damon, and Driver, and being angry at somebody is about the best type of interpersonal chemistry for Matt Damon. Also, Comer and Driver will each more than make up for anything else! Including whatever Affleck is trying to do here!
I felt like I went through deja vu with this article- just like the McDonald’s hot coffee lady, I initially thought this was a stupid games/stupid prizes scenario, but the actual story is a horrifically sad nightmare.
It’s some real retrograde feminism if you really think that’s the mark you’re hitting. You can certainly call it feminism if you want to ascribe it to the second wave feminism, the real “My brain is cottage cheese, so hide your skin!”, Tipper Gore style feminism- yeah, you’re on a pissy little moral crusade where you…
