I’m really just excited to see what Kripke does regardless of how consistent it is with the comic- seasons so far really strayed off the source material in a lot of ways, and in a lot of ways really captured the same ethos of the comic.

The funny thing is that she had been trying to grift a name for herself from ‘07 to ‘17 in more moderate spheres, and eventually jumped onto the alt-right bandwagon because she wanted to make an online bullying registry, and the only morons that supported her were the more authoritarian nationalists- so she became one

I don’t know who it was on Twitter that made the best ITYSL reference to date, but when that photo of Chalamet, Swinton, Anderson, and Murray was trending, somebody made the joke that Murray’s shirt was worth $2k because the pattern was so complicated:

uuuhm... you realize the sentences you started to read continues on, right?

I know we’re talking about a guy from another country, but it’s hard to find a better candidate for some Oldboy style retribution.

OH, SORRY! I didn’t realize some random person on the internet has a personal experience they feel means something significant! Guess I’m wrong. /s Really though, Rogan is a moron and deservedly is called out for things he did above, and it doesn’t make two licks of sense to blast Tucker Carlson in the comment section

Which is fine if you’re familiar with McWhorter- typically, it doesn’t bode well if an op-ed, especially in the Atlantic, is writing about “policing” social norms. I was expecting some Andrew Sullivan/David Frum trite shit about how social decorum was better back in the day; I’m happy McWhorter scrapes more brain

I thought the Atlantic article was going to trend well into “mUh fReEdOmS aRe gOnE, jUsT lIkE 1984!!!” territory, but hooooooo boy, is that Brandeis list full of some truly goofy aggrievances, and even worse solutions.

There’s no RP fantasy worth pursuing more than being romantically rejected because you’re a queer person in the apocalypse!

This has been a wholly stupid triad of reviews, but like Dowd said himself:

That hat was made for a career in voice.

I’m sad for how that must have impacted James Gunn, as he’s the real victim in all of that, but on the bright side it’s ended in the best way possible!

Shaw did the equivalent of saying some shit while out at dinner with friends, then having a nuclear meltdown when getting told to simmer it down. Except she forgot that she’s not with friends, she’s a public figure and Twitter is not your friend- it’s a load of unfamiliar faces that already think you’re a little too

When’s the last time Cage put in even an interesting, let alone good, performance?

I’ll maintain that it’s still less uncomfortable than Luke/Leia AND Maeby/George Michael. I think it’s also still perfectly hilarious that the self-obsessed Loki (plural, and including Sylvie) would fall in love with themself- this series did well in exploring this- most of the growth in empathy we ever see from Loki

Right? I think there’ll be 4 people in the entirety of human existence that will be swayed in any direction over cannabis and Cohen’s moral standings.

To me, it seems like lawyerspeak; his council is just pulling out all the stops to make sure they can successfully take action on what is probably just a copyright fuss.

Oh yeah! The only thing I think comparable is the James Gunn debacle- I don’t think we would’ve got this upcoming Suicide Squad if it weren’t for dipshit Cernovich’s dipshittery.

I’m absolutely jazzed for Thor and the next GOTG, and while I’m sad that Scott Derrickson exited Doctor Strange, I’m definitely curious what we’ll get from Sam Raimi.

I don’t remember that, but movie fucking rocks so I probably shut it out. I’m very excited about the next one, it looks like there’s going to be a wild ride. Trailer gave away too much though, I’m trying to forget as much as I can before it hits theatres.
