Two things- You can’t fault SNL or the cast for its penchant for yellowface through the years, they only discovered comedy amongst the Asian population two years ago, what’s a guy to do? /s

I think he’s often a great writer conceptually, I just really hate his penchant for extremely edgelord follow-through- like ending Wanted with the panel saying “This is what it looks like when I’m fucking you in the ass”. I genuinely hated his runs in any Ultimate series, he was the polar opposite to Bendis’s work in…
Sebastian Stan sort of looks like Dave Navarro to me.
OH FOR SURE. It’s ultimately the braindead grift that your Jordans Peterson, Bens Shapiro, and Kaitlins Bennett, and others, are doing- taking billionaire conservatives’ money as outreach to aimless, always-aggrieved reactionaries with little personal identity (and a whole lot of enmity for those WITH identity).
That shot of the cast on the beach- all I could think of when I saw Josh Duhamel was that Steven Crowder is inevitably going to stop his idiotic Nathan Drake cosplay outfit and dress like this.
as much as I dislike the original comic book series by Millar and think showcases a lot of his worst tendencies as a writer
I haven’t seen the original, but I’d watch the shit out of the remake- Michael Ealy and Regina Hall are both fantastic actors.
DeSantis is a right cock of a man. I’d like to see what would be left of him after a high-speed jetski accident.
I have a bunch of sympathy towards Busy Phillips and Rita Wilson that they’d be brought up anywhere tangentially related to Rebel Wilson.
Jake Paul makes both Money Mayweather and his brother each seem like they’re halfway intelligent. What a moron.
“This was like touching somebody over their clothes,” Jim Bob said in the Fox News interview. “There were a couple instances where he touched them under their clothes.”
I also think it’s just easy to give them the benefit of the doubt on it, say that they’re genuinely concerned- even say that representation of POC is important to consider and it’s good to understand why The Bad Batch has characters with lighter colouring. The conversation that many are having on Tumblr, etc. that…
Yeah, I think there’s definitely people that want to find the next thing to rally against. Not all, but some of them for sure.
No, that is not what I'm doing.
My immediate thought on this article is “who’s concerned?” and, seeing it’s Tumblr up to its regular shit (like the time they were crusading that it's cultural appropriation to cosplay as Garnet from Steven Universe), I’m thinking this bullshit is infinitely less worth considering.
You’re fine if you enjoy it or not; protesting your taste as it is some sort of indictment against a piece of art is another story.
You’re very correct- I framed what I said specifically not as a grade or criticism to Weezer or any of their albums, but as how their music has resonated with me. I can appreciate if others find any way to enjoy Weezer’s music, the band’s certainly talented-even if I can’t fully enjoy them.
Maybe we’re from alternate realities- I don’t agree with a single thing you said.
He actually did say it during production- my dad was a producer on the film, in between his work at Nintendo.
:P
