Moonrise Kingdom looked and felt like a parody of a Wes Anderson film

Why did so many people love "The Phone Call" … I found it incredibly trite and cliche with absolutely zero nuance. Butter Lamp was fantastic and I think my favorite was Boogaloo and Graham.

I think its one of those movies where your attitude about the subject matter dramatically affects how you feel about the movie. I'm a pacifist, very very anti-war, liberal, all that … so I hated it.

We only watched Still Alice because we had a screener. I never would've sought it out in the theaters, primarily because I knew it would depress the fuck out of me (which it did. I know that real life Alzheimers is very depressing. but oof this movie was ROUGH. I cried A LOT)
