My kid calls my husband “papa” and me “mama”, but that’s mostly because he goes to a Spanish immersion daycare and that is what they taught him. I must say both “papa” and “mama” sound adorable when delivered in a cute little two-year-old voice.

My husband and I are papa and mama to our son, but that’s mostly due to our kid being in a Spanish immersion daycare. They taught it to him and it stuck, though I do prefer it to dad and mom. It just sounds sweeter in his tiny little voice.
