I'm not going to go back and forth with you. I don't think that most people need a lesson in respecting their mother. If you are lacking in that area, that's on you, don't project.

First off, your comment has nothing to do with mine.

What's wrong with that? Barack clearly wanted to make a calculating political ad, Mitt it appears didn't focus on that this go around.

There is nothing wrong with how "multicultural" Obama's family is, but it is no more valid than an all white family, or all black family etc. for that matter. You do know Obama's family make up is relatively rare in the US right? Most black families look like Michelle's-primarily black. Most white families look like

You can't always (probably rarely) can control something once its put out in the world.

I placed an order with them shortly after the Ellen hullabaloo, and sent them an email letting them know of the order number and my appreciation of the company support for fairness and equality. I received a nice email response back.

I've seen no evidence that Romney is racist, and I say that as someone who knew his work in Massachusetts very well and disagreed with many of his policy positions.

This discussion illustrates the futility of the terms "minority" and "of color". There is far too much diversity among non white women for that term to have any meaning, and it implies some sort of commonality/coalition that doesn’t really exist, as demonstrated in this discussion.

"Is it more shocking when privileged, douchebag-ey, White dude-bro's seem to be going through a mental breakdown?"

I dont consider myself a hero, but I help people on the street fairly often. I don't get myself into unsafe situations, but I dont find it unsafe to say "sir, are you ok" or call authorities when someone is slumped over on a crowded sidewalk/subway which I have seen often. Because even if the person is "drunk, crazy,

A grown man pulling a prank and ruining someone's outfit at a big event is ridiculous.

And how would you screen for that type of behavior?

This is ridiculous, a grown man behaving this way.

His every move screams new money.

I find most of these looks boring or tacky. Paltrow for the win.

I just commented to someone else about the personality that the 90s models showed, including Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell. I don't recall that being a problem, they ended up as some of the biggest models in the world for a time.

That crop of 90s models-Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tyra Banks etc. seemed to have a lot of personality and I think people tended to look at them more than the clothes (or in addition to). I don't know for sure but I am assuming that the brands they walked for did well.

I too learned it from Oprah. I thought about that when she went off of the air, that after what, 30 years, thats what I remember from Oprah. And Im damn glad.

I'll also add, from my experience with abuse victims, they don't necessarily hide away after being abused-they often maintain a front, to keep appearances and protect their abuser.

Mitt handled that very well. Go head Mitt.
