Gambit could charge up sentinels, but will not. The energy used and the energy outputted would be to great. I can imagine that a sentinel charged up would wipe out a huge chunk of a city. Which is why Gambit uses playing cards. they are small and can only contain so much energy, and the throwing advantage of them.
