The issue I would have with fare zones is that they would disproportionately impact the poor commuting into Manhattan working shit jobs while benefiting asshole finance douches like me who commute 4 stops within Manhattan.

Salary cap would come with a hard salary floor. Currently MLB players take home the smallest % of revenue of any of the 4 US sports leagues. I am all for the players getting 100% or as close to it of Revenue as possible but the MLBPA has traded guaranteed salaries and limited PED testing for money for a while now
