The more time I spend at H2R the sadder I am that I'm moving to Houston.

There are lots of jobs in Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos right now, fastest growing area in the country I believe.

Move to Austin, it's worth it.

I'm always amazed at how open the track is. With the exception of weekends you'll typically be the only person on track, even on a really nice day.

It's central Texas' best kept secret.

Now playing

$2500 Initiation fee (they'll let you pay it over 2 years if you want with no interest) and $215/month including tax. It's the best motorsport bargain I've ever heard of. And they let you shoot guns after hours. It's a giant adult playground.

Are the headlights as hideous in real life as they look in photos?

I wish this was available when I bought my Silverado 3 years ago. I got rid of it mainly because it was a PITA around town, and was bigger than I needed. This would have been perfect.

Goddammit

Cars aren't an investment. If you try to make them so you're setting yourself up to be disappointed.

much funny. so sans. wow.

From my understanding of how texting works it uses so little data that it is sent via the connection you passively maintain with the cell tower, so there would be no change in the amount of radiation or radio waves entering or leaving your phone when you send/receive a text.

But it's just towing my own PERSONAL race cars. I am a GENTLEMAN race car driver and have no time for your silly regulations.

Does this count as an RV? If so AWESOME.

I thought you did need a special licence if the vehicle weighted more than 26,000lbs?

Let's be honest, the brand is not going to become more "American" it is going to become more "Chinese."

I drove from Austin to Lubbock and back in one night to pick up my 24 Hours of Lemons car... and then went to work the next day. It was not a fun drive, 12 hours and 750 miles round trip almost entirely on non-lit rural highways; had two panic stops to avoid deer. Quite butt clenching in a borrowed truck and trailer.

I guess I just don't care about names as much as some people. This thing is light years better than the Liberty is it replacing. And if you are complaining about Jeeps that aren't good offroad then you should start complaining about every Jeep that isn't a Grand Cherokee or the Wrangler. Let's also not forget that the

NAs in good condition are asking ~$4k here. I'm starting to see a lot of NBs in the $2-3k range. On average NBs are still more expensive but I'm seeing more cheap NBs than I am cheap NAs.

Down here in Texas winter isn't really an issue, and I'm seeing 99-01ish NBs going for the same or less than a lot of NAs.
