Am I actually considering bidding on this? Is this actually happening? Is this real life?

I want this so bad.

You'd be sacrificing a massive amount of efficiency. Every time you convert one type of energy to another you lose quite a bit, the additional two steps of mechanical to electric, electric back to mechanical would make this not worth it. Additionally it would probably add quite a bit of weight along with more

Fucking West Texas.

I like the F8x more than the E9x but still not a fan, especially with the bizarre 3/4 series split, I wouldn't consider buying one. BMW makes me really sad because I used to consider them my favorite brand but the only car they've made since the E46 I don't dislike is the 1 series.

Congrats on being the exception to the rule. I wasn't trying to insult you, everyone's taste is different but as a former E30 and E46 owner I hate the E9X 3 series and everything it stands for: bloat, Bangle styling and a further move toward softness over performance. The E9X M3 was a fine sports car, but even if you

I didn't mean that it was a trim level in that it had similar performance potential, I meant it was a trim level in that the vast majority of people who bought it simply bought it so that they had the most expensive 3-Series. Most never came within miles of a track. And anything that Turner does is fantastic. I still

The jealousy is strong with this one.

Insurance and police auctions are the way to go, you'll be amazed at how cheap things sell. Since SpeedyCop is an actual cop I wouldn't be surprised if he goes the police auction route.
My favorite method of cruising craigslist (or kijiji for you silly canucks) for lemons cars it to search for the terms "no title,"

The spoiler doesn't do anything at 0mph

If there was a vehicle that could make me stray from the manual transmission, this would be it.

The bro-rage in this one is classic

Dude, you're just wrong. Left foot braking was invented on manual transmissions, you are just 100% wrong.

Which is why I won't buy one. I think it's crazy that they aren't offering it with a manual. The Alfa is built for enthusiasts, rich idiots who buy fast cars look at HP numbers not power/weight ratio which is where the Alfa excels because of it's light weight.

Ah gotcha. Don't know about that because I normally just listen to XM. In my roommates truck I think I encountered that, easiest way to get to the bluetooth and bypass the menu is to just use the voice command.

You're using it wrong. Just read what you wrote, you set up your phone as the default bluetooth device and then it automatically connects each time you get into the car. They normally do this for you at the dealer when you buy the car.

Am I honestly the only one who likes the Sync system and doesn't understand how people have so much trouble with it?

I really don't. If I had that kind of money I'd rather buy classic Ferraris, Lambos etc.

Uhhh totally not true. Go watch any rally video.

I actually appreciate PDKs more now that I actually drive on a track regularly and if I were buying a car SOLELY as a track toy I would consider one, but a car like this I would want to use on a road too which is where I enjoy using a stick most. There are just few things as satisfying as running through the gears
