Well the current GT will do 0-60 in 4.5 with a manual, so to match the manual M3 they need to shave 0.4 seconds. The new Stang is going to be lighter and have more power than the outgoing model, so yeah it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Couldn't this also just be the ZR1 motor? Just because there were rumors that the ZO6 motor would be called the LT4 doesn't mean those rumors were accurate. Not saying this isn't the Z06 motor I'm just throwing another possibility out there.

Yes, I read all that, I read the entire review. It still only makes 74HP. The Versa which starts at $11,990 makes 109HP. You can make a car this price and still make more than 74HP, it's not like the SOHC non-VTEC 1.5L in my old Honda was exactly complicated.

I honestly don't understand how you can sell a car with only 74HP, and I'm no stranger to low HP cars. My old EF Civic had 92 HP, you're really telling me you couldn't put in an engine with more HP than a 23 year old 1.5L? I know the goal is to be cheap and fuel efficient but still.

What do you mean? The S60R had a manual transmission and 300hp. You're telling me that transmission can't handle 350hp or that it would be a massive engineering feat to make it handle 350hp? The S60 Polestar concept had a 6 speed manual and that had 508hp.

That's not unreasonable, I'm not saying an automatic shouldn't be offered but I think a manual should be an option.
