I agree, all Toyota/Subaru and to do get everyone falling all over themselves for the BRZ (before it even was the BRZ) was say RWD in the spirit of the AE86. Everyone went nuts. Here we have a car that looks like it could be on the model room floor in a year or so thats small and RWD and everyone is acting like it's

I am excited for this thing because I've been waiting for ANY american auto company to make a small RWD Coupe for years! I want something small and RWD, I don't want a Mustang or a Camero, or god forbid a Challenger. I love the 1-series and I have high hopes for the BRZ, and I was f-ing pissed when I found out the BRZ

I would say that GM's cars of the last 5 years or so have been much less boring than anything thats come out of Japan.

This. I'm convinced he had this article written last week, and wrote the other article this morning to justify it.

This is a fairly long well thought out article.

Cobalt: Introduced 2004

There is no way they would make this car with only the 150hp engine. GM is not that dumb, if the Cobalt SS gets a 260hp engine then this one will too.

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. And I've been to New Jersey so thats saying something.

Okay, it might be heavier but it won't be 1000 lbs heavier. And given GM's track record it will probably handle quite well. And the BRZ will not weight 2500, according to Subaru it will weigh 2689, thats a big difference. My guess is that this will probably weight in the range of 2900 to 3000 lbs. yes thats more but

WTF are you talking about? GM has shown itself very capable of making good handling cars, see corvette, CTS-V, Cobalt SS, etc. And the new ATS is lighter than all the competition. Get off you fucking high horse and open your eyes.

The more I look at it the more I like the 130R. Simply by removing the bar on the grill would make it a much more attractive car. I don't understand how people are proclaiming this "one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen." It's small, its RWD and with a few small changes could be quite good looking. I think I've found

I could not agree more. I don't know what has happened here.

I don't understand all the hate. THESE ARE CONCEPT CARS, NOT FINISHED DESIGNS!

Keep it around 3000 lbs, keep it RWD, give it a 6 speed manual and the turbo 4 from the Solstice and make the badge smaller and I would buy one in a heartbeat. A small, sport American RWD coupe is all I want in life.

I don't think you're in the minority, I think most people like it. I like it too, I just think I like the New Fusion more. But I'll reserve judgement until I see both in person.

Yes he will, but he's not going to pay enough that it constitutes an good investment for the seller. Just because someone will buy it doesn't mean they'll overpay for it.

No manual and AWD together? Lame.

I disagree, cars are made to be driven, regardless of whether its the last one or not. It's an absolute shame to see amazing cars sitting doing nothing, you might as well not even put the engine in it since it's essentially been used as a stationary piece or art.

This would be a terrible investment. It cost $300,000 new (according to lambocars.com) even if it gets $600.000 (which it probably won't) that's only a 6.5% annual return. And thats not even taking into account: Barrett Jackson's cut, insurance on the car for the last 11 years, storing the car the last 11 years etc.

That doesn't mean I can't hate them. I feel completely justified in this.
