Mackinac Bridge connecting the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. One of the longest bridges in the world, and the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere (by one definition).

I don't understand why everyone gets so emotional about this issue, on both sides of the argument. Here is the reality: electric cars are not the future, they are merely a part of it. Eventually (read: decades in the future) our auto fleet will be a combination of electric and hydrogen cars, or more likely plug in

No he's dressed as Max Mosley.

Why do my pictures not stay up?

Obviously the correct answer is 9 Miatas. I mean if you're in a pinch you could do it with five but comeon, everyone wants to drive.

No carfax wouldn't show that a car stored dead bodies, but it would show if a car had been a rental car and stolen three times. And frankly if you buy a car like that dead bodies is probably par for the course.

These people are idiots and frankly deserve every thing they got for buying a used car without looking at a carfax report or something similar. You're making a purchase in the tens of thousands of dollars, spend the $20 and get it checked out.

Um your advice is about the worst advice I've ever heard. When Lithium is exposed to water it explodes, you want to keep Lithium away from water at all costs.

Well did they leave the batteries exposed outside in the rain? Because that would be sillly. Also does anyone know if the volt's batteries use thionyl chloride? Because that's some nasty stuff too. Ultimately Lithium Batteries carry some inherent risk due to the volatility of the components inside them, but so does

I currently have an HTC Evo and I love it, even if I don't love Android all that much (Frankly I miss my Pre a little bit). But after using my evo for like 20 minutes the day I got it I couldn't even fathom using a phone with a smaller screen. As such I will never even consider an iPhone until it has at least a 4.3"

Of course I'm going to watch. Is TG USA as good as TG UK? Of course not, but that doesn't mean its not enjoyable. If you really want to enjoy it you have to stop expecting the USA version to be as good as the UK version, especially right off the bat. I mean have any of you watched the first few seasons of Top Gear UK?

Man, after watching that video I feel like I should go change the tires on my car.

I just want a regular C6 Corvette. You can find 05 ones with a 6 speed for around $25k now but one the C7 comes out I'm hoping I can get an 08 with an LS3 for about that same price.

Actually this newspaper is from last week. The foe the newspaper is referring to is the Vikings

Oh god this could get bad. Thinking about this made me go look at prices for them, and there are some really nice ones on ebay. Am I seriously considering this?

I'm still considering it. But I'm thinking of getting an FC first so I can get a little bit of practice working on a rotary.

3rd Generation RX7, Fast, Great Handling cool engine and looks that were a decade ahead of its time. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if I didn't know how much of a headache they were to own.

Apparently it's being sold to help support the builder's widow. Somehow I don't think he would have a problem with that.

Chevy cobalt ss. 260hp, awesome handling, $22k, ~8:15 nurburgring time. I always loved this car and it makes me really sad that gm doesn't make a small sporty car anymore.

Actually thats not very good for a 360cc 2-stroke. If you want to compare hp/L numbers of 2 stroke engines against 4 stroke engines you need to double the size of the 2 stroke engine while doing your calculations since each cylinder is firing twice as often. It's actually much closer to an equivalent 50hp/L, nothing
