I’m not saying that everyone that hates donks is a racist, but if it was a venn diagram, it would almost be a circle.

Car manufacturers: Nobody wants to buy manual cars anymore!
Toyota: Stop taking preorders on the Corolla GR and manual Supra, we can’t fulfill all of them!
I’ve said this a lot, but I only need a dealership to function as a title shop, and occasionally a service center when something is out of my hands. Other than that, they serve no purpose to me, personally. I don’t need a “relationship” with them, and just like any middle man their sole purpose is to suck up money.
I think this is exceedingly lame. If it was neon sized and less ugly, I’d be way more interested. As it is, I hate it.
The fricking Dodge Neon, duh. I think it would be a perfect idea. Just need to make it: Small, cheap, fun to drive, and with frameless windows.
Another useless comment on what is still a great car site. No matter what your politics are, this website is still a great place to come to and read about cars. This article is literally about states potentially trying to stop people from driving from one state to another for health care. Bmcox, you missed the point…
I recently started doing YouTube videos about cars, and I did one video where I did a walkaround of a truck I bought, and it’s painfully obvious I watched so much MotorWeek as a kid. I can’t help but do the god damn John Davis mannerisms and talk and walk every time I talk about a car if I don’t have the camera in my…
I did my first transmission swap in a parking space over the span of a week while learning how to do it in a dodge neon. I spent $250 on a used transmission, and $275 on a “racing clutch”. On jackstands, in the middle of the winter with only hand tools. Being poor and stubborn will force your hand in ways never…
My dad had a fleet of cool cars and weird but interesting” cars long before I was born. A 59 DKW 3=6 (threw a rod), a 62 Studebaker Lark (grandma never changed the oil when he left it with her), a Ferrari 250 (sold because of repair bills), 69 Jaguar XK-E convertible (firebombed when he was stationed in Greece), a 69…
Good. Good for them. I’d have done the same thing if I could have.
Hell, even the SRT-4 neon would be great.
I didn’t buy them because they were crossovers. The Caliber was HUGE in comparison to the neon. When the Dart came out, I really didn’t like it’s size or curb weight either.
What year GC? I have an 89 that I 5 speed swapped, and it’s really a close favorite to my SRT4 swapped k-car.
As someone who bought a Dodge Neon brand new in 2005, and now owns a bunch of neons, k-cars, and omnis, I was hoping for something neon sized. It’s another fucking crossover. If I wanted a Caliber, or a Journey I would have bought one.
Move along then, nerd. I’m parking at the truck fuel island anyway.
This made me laugh harder than it should have.
I’m glad that housing is so affordable you can just move closer to work when gas prices raise up.
Having a vehicle breakdown that you can fix on the side of the road with your significant other really helps build a relationship.
The used car market has been so bad, I’ve been fixing up cars in my yard instead of just buying a new beater every 6 months.
I think the lack of front swaybar, and the weight ratio being heavy towards the back is not helping with that oversteer issue.
