I’m glad that housing is so affordable you can just move closer to work when gas prices raise up.

Having a vehicle breakdown that you can fix on the side of the road with your significant other really helps build a relationship.

The used car market has been so bad, I’ve been fixing up cars in my yard instead of just buying a new beater every 6 months.

I think the lack of front swaybar, and the weight ratio being heavy towards the back is not helping with that oversteer issue.

I remember him from years ago on the neons.org message boards. If I remember correctly, he had a plexiglass rear window, made engine swaps pretty easy.

I spent many a nights growing up in Glen Burnie watching Motor Week with my dad, while my dad pointed out all the spots in Maryland that they shot footage. John Davis’ voice will put me to sleep but I’ll remember everything he said while he narrates the videos.

I actually cleared my garage out enough to shove my neon into it after it sitting for 9 years. I’ve had several projects in between there but this is finally going back on the road. I actually decided to document it and put it on youtube. A little like a project log from the old forum days.

Give it a watch if you care

In situations like this, the car in the back simply needs to pull over, and take a few minutes to chill out. The car in front will go on his way thinking you got off the highway, and all will be chill in the future.

I’ve been hemming and hawing about what my first EV was going to be. Got a new job, and was hoping it would end up being a (super base) model 3, but between watching Rich Rebuilds videos, hearing about how god fucking awful Tesla service is, and of course the owners and Tesla Stans.... it’ll probably be a Bolt or a

Hell, nobody even delivers to my house around here except for a small chain. They get a lot of business from me.

Nintendo drone strike inbound.

I would love to pick up that Dart from you and make it my summer night time cruiser.....but I’m recently down to 9 from 19 at my house, and I have 2 sitting on death row currently. A rusty PA lifer 00 Suburban with a messed up lifter, and an 03 neon that spent its first 16 years in Massachusetts and the last 3 sitting

I’d look for a “360 degree” dash cam.

I’d look for a “360 degree” dash cam.

I’d pay some good money for a Zak McKracken movie.

I’ve had this happen to me more than once. Ususally the first oil change on a car right after I bought it. One time I just tore the entire casing of the Fitler trying to do the screw driver method. I ended up grabbing the casing of the filter housing and pulling with channel locks. I got it off eventually, but with

Well, I just realized that these will hold the weight of my neon just fine. I’m gonna grab a set this weekend.

You could probably pump up the 4 tires, and then ghost ride it down the hill in neutral. Even if the tires are dry rotted and shot, they’ll probably hold enough pressure to get down the driveway.

Harbor Freight has a version of the self-loading dolly. They also have a light duty version of the old dollies for $49 for 2. I’m going to grab a set for my garage for sure.

One of my favorite threads I read in the early years of my automotive forum use.

The guards at work get mad when I show up in my truck with DRL’s. I explained to them I can’t turn them off without putting the truck in park. But they rotate the staff there so much, it doesn’t matter who I tell.
