Seem you and (possibly) your co workers don’t have much bargaining power. Form a union, and you’ll likely be better off.

One of the last real conversations with my dad while he had Alzheimer’s, I tried to tell him I had bought a house in rural PA after living in suburbs of MD most of my life. I showed him some pictures, but he just kept smiling and saying “no way, you’re not old enough yet”. He thought I was still a teenager, or

I can just imagine you going up a ramp screaming “LEEEEROOOOOOOOOOY”

This already happens in Maryland. But certain companies allow you to sell and ship them online through the mail. They keep your license information, but it’s not a deterrent.

I’m itching super hard for a FWD base model. Even with living in south PA and the snow we get, I’ve been fine with snow tires and a neon for quite a while, so AWD wont be necessary. I take neons and minivans where most people don’t take their trucks, so I’d be fine with a FWD one.

4th gear:

I regularly do long road trips to visit family, and my daily commute is pretty insane. I think my personal cutoff to where I’d be really interested in an EV for trips would be 300 miles with the heat running during winter.

I regularly tow things I shouldn’t with my minivan. If I could find a cheap enough tow hitch for my neon I’d gladly tow my 4'x8' trailer so I could stop having to use my truck to get plywood or drywall.

I’m 35, but make references that only my boomer aged co workers understand. Not all of this advice is great here lmao

There’s a few gas stations in Adams County and York County that carry completely Ethanol free options. Most of the sheetz down here carry 90 octane ethanol free. I keep saying I’m going to fill my garden tractor with it at the end of the season, but it keeps starting with 3 month old E10 87 octane every spring.

That’s an entirely relatable feeling. I’ve been listening for a while, we subscribed to the Patreon so we could get all the other stories they have. It’s such a fantastic world with some amazing story writing, I’d die to see this as a TV series in some way.

I’m a huge fan of Old Gods of Appalachia as a horror podcast.

I’m kind of amazed nobody brought up the Dodge Neon. The change from the 99 to the 00, from a standard economy car standpoint was a MASSIVE difference. Framed windows, quieter/nicer interior, even if it was uglier.

Articles like this are a steady reminder of why I haven’t set foot in a car dealership more than necessary the past few years. Once this year to get a key cut from a VIN number, once last year to get a dealer only control arm bolt.

I fucking love Caravans/Voyagers. I bought an 89 for $900 in Texas in 2016, swapped a 5 speed in it at my buddies house after driving it around for a few months, and road tripped it home 1600 miles. Since then I’ve added 40K miles and it’s been the second most reliable vehicle I’ve owned. The mitsu 3.0 v6 smokes like

I don’t care how much it is, I would make that Nobe part of my fleet. The vintage styling, being small, and being an EV would be a great around town vehicle for me.

I absolutely thought it was.

This is sounding like the Lucid article’s comment section lol

I’m sure you stop to get fuel atleast once, and if you’re swapping to get breakfast, or lunch, you can stop for 30 minutes to top up the batteries in this to get you to your destination.

But sure, I guess it’s “not enough range” for your once a year trip.

I’m having a really really hard time thinking of an oil seal that alcohol being used as a fuel could cause an oil leak. Mainly since the fuel and oil systems never meet up.

As someone who owns multiple 1gn neons, I can confidently say:
